Russia’s communications watchdog advised Russian media to not report an interview with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zeleskiy on Sunday. It also stated that it was investigating the outlets which interviewed him.
The watchdog for social media posted a brief statement on its website stating that a number of Russian outlets had conducted an interview with Zelenskiy.
It stated that Roskomnadzor warned the Russian media not to publish this interview. It didn’t give any reason.
Russian prosecutors stated that a legal opinion would have to be given on the statements in the interview as well as the legality of publishing it.
Zelenskiy spoke with several Russian publications.
